solution and answer are confusing

Ans 1:

AREEN from BOLTON, HYDERABAD
Class : Class 6
Ans is b because seventeenth from th left end is 6 and eight to 6's left is %.

Ans 2:

SRISANTH from Edify, Tirupathi
Class : Class 5
I counted to eight and included the number 6 that's why Igot it wrong
