The hairy skin of the sheep has two types of fibres that form its fleece: (i) the coarse beard hair and (ii) the fine soft underĀ­hair close to the skin. Which of the hair provide the fibres for making wool?

The answer what I marked was the same answer as the correct answer but it was marked wrong. I am supposed to get 1 more mark

Ans 1:

Class : Class 8
The fine soft underhair close to skin are used to make wool :)

Ans 2:

Class : Class 8
wool is only sheared from body so answer is B

Ans 3:

Class : Class 9
The answer will be C. As coarse hair (burrs) are used to make low grade materials like rugs, good hair is used to make sweaters and shawls.
