Which letter will be 4th to the right of 9th letter from the right end, if 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th and so on are interchanged in the word 'COMPANIONATE'?

They r asking wht is the letter 4th to the right of the ninth letter from the right end, when all the letters r interchanged with the letter next to it like the 1st and 2nd (C and O) and then the next 2 3rd and 4th (M and P), so on.
