Rearrange the words to make a meaningful sentence :
many / anyone / I / were / there / but / not / know / did

A I did not know anyone but many were there.
B There were many I not know anyone but did
C Many were there but I did not know anyone.
D But I did not know anyone were many there.


Why ? Option A is also correct if we see
