Transitive verbs need objects. Fill in the blanks using correct options as the object of the transitive verbs in the given sentences. Mark 'no object' if the verbs used in the sentences are intransitive :
It is not correct to say that the moon shines _________. It only reflects the light received from sun.

Itself is a reflexive pronoun and the action shines is applied on it. Hence it should be a transitive verb and "A" should be the answer.
