A (i) Carbon and Manganese dioxide mixture, (ii) Carbon rod, (iii) Ammonium chloride
B (i) Carbon rod, (ii) Ammonium chloride, (iii) Zinc container
C (i) Ammonium chloride, (ii) Zinc container, (iii) Carbon rod
D (i) Zinc container, (ii) Carbon rod, (iii) Carbon and Manganese dioxide mixture

The correct answer is C as the part labeled (i) is ammonium chloride, (ii) is zinc container and (iii) is carbon rod.

c is the only correct ans because in a zinc carbon dry cell zinc container is the negative terminal of the cell and carbon is the positive terminal of the cell and we need a electrolyte to convert chemical energy into electrical energy i.e. ammonium chloride.
