TIME - ESSENTIAL POINTS


  1. There is a certain time for activities, for example we brush, take bath  and go to school in the morning,
  2. We also take breakfast in the morning.
  3. We come back from school in the afternoon, and take lunch. The study time is also afternoon time.
  4. In the evening we go to play in the playground, watch television for some time and have dinner.
  5. In the night we sleep for 7- 8 hours.
  6. There is a certain sequence of activities to complete a task. If we have to prepare banana shake, then first we have to bring the milk and bananas, then pour bananas milk and sugar in the blender, and then blend it. Then pour out the prepared banana shake from the blender into the glass.
  7. There are seven days in a week that are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  8. There are twelve months in a year. The first month is January, second is February, third is March, 4th is April, 5th is May, 6th is June, 7th is July, 8th is August, 9th is September, 10th is October, 11th is November, 12th is December. In a non leap year there are 365 days, and in a leap year there are 366 days.
  9. February is the month which has 28 days in non leap year, and 29 days in leap year. The leap year falls once in four years. For instance 2016 was a leap year and the next leap year would be 2020.
  10. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are weekdays.
  11. Saturday and Sunday are the weekends, when there is a holiday.
  12. It takes seconds to blink the eyes, two – three minutes to brush the teeth, five – ten minutes to take bath.
  13. If today is 7th June and day is Saturday, then on next Saturday it would be 7 + 7 = 14th June.
