HOW DO SPERM GET FUSED WITH OVUM

Because of the process of fertilization the sperm enters the ovum and formation of zygote happens inside the nucleous.

It gets fused because when the sperm enters the vagina and after it enters the uterus where the thick lining of the wall of uterus has ova the sperm enters the ova with its middle portion and the tail is left behind then the process of fertilization takes place.
